Boots at Battersea Power Station is giving away giftbags worth £300 to its first 200 customers

Battersea Power Station is steadily reigniting the area around it, as every store you could possibly hope for flocks to the area.

Next up is beloved household name Boots, a mainstay of any British shopping experience, which will open its doors to customers for the first time tomorrow, December 6.

But it's not just the launch that South West Londoners can be excited about —  if you happen to be free and roaming the area at 10.30am tomorrow, you could be in for a very festive treat.

As Battersea Power Station's Boots marks its inaugural opening, it will also be giving away beauty giftbags worth £300 to tomorrow's visitors.

The giftbags promise to carry the "best of beauty at Boots," which includes new brands launching at the store, like Ariana Grande's much-hyped makeup line, R.E.M beauty. Other brands that can be found inside the goody bag include Fenty Beauty, Kylie Cosmetics, The Ordinary, No7 and Bubble.

But you'll need to get there quick, as the bags are only available to this Boots' first 200 customers.

Even if you miss out, this Boots is worth getting on your map, because it's a whopper. Comprising over 11,200 square feet, the new store features 250 curated beauty brands — that's across skin care, cosmetics, body care, hair care and fragrance.

Makeup lines like NARS and Benefit are also promising pop-ups and masterclasses, in case you want to learn how to do your brows like an expert, and trending brands such as Sol de Janeiro and Byoma have lined up giveaways. On launch day, Huda Beauty will also be taking over Battersea Power Station Boots' new supersized "beauty bar."

And if you're already stressing about your winter skincare stock-ups, or the cold weather is already breaking down that precious skin barrier, there will also be a dermatologist-trained Boots pharmacist based in the store, who will offer free consultations and clinical advice on a variety of skin concerns.

Jenna Ward, Head of Beauty Reinvention at Boots, said of the opening: “The new Boots Beauty store at Battersea Power Station provides a platform for us to test the latest brands and new service innovations before we introduce them to customers shopping in our stores across the country. By combining Boots 175 years of pharmacy heritage with our market-leading beauty offering, we can offer accessible and holistic skin care expertise on the high street in a way that’s never been done before. The opening of this new store marks a major milestone in Boots transformation of beauty on the high street.”

The store will open to customers on Wednesday 6th December at 10:30am.
