Boots shoppers are impressed with a new No7 foundation, with some comparing it to high end brand Charlotte Tilbury.
High street beauty retailer Boots is popular among skincare and makeup enthusiasts thanks to its vast selection of products from luxury and budget friendly brands, as well as its own range of products. One in-house brand, No7, is particularly popular thanks to its high performing, yet reasonably priced, products.
Recently, No7 launched its new Restore & Renew Serum Foundation. The lightweight foundation, which costs £19.95, has been "expertly formulated" and aims to enhance the skin to help create a smoother, firmer and more "even skin tone".

It's a buildable formula which offers light to medium coverage and includes "No7 Restore & Renew Serum technology, including Collagen Peptide Technology, Pro-Retinol, Ceramide complex and Vitamin C*". The serum foundation has already racked up a string of five star reviews on Boots' website.
Boots also shared the product on its Instagram page, writing: "When skincare meets make-up The brand new @no7uk Restore & Renew Serum Foundation is here! A lightweight foundation full of skin-loving ingredients – it’s time to enhance beauty".
On Boots' website, one reviewer compared the product's effectiveness to that of luxury makeup brand Charlotte Tilbury, writing: "I have tried so many foundations including Charlotte Tilbury and none have been as amazing as this one my skin looks so smooth with a natural radiant finish absolutely beautiful".
Another shopper titled their review "wow!" and said: "[I've] been looking for a foundation that won't cling into dry patches and this is it. [I've] been using it on its own without any moisturiser or primer under and it's an absolute dream. It's a bit expensive but it's worth it... If you're looking for a beautiful finish and natural look and pretty decent coverage get this!"
A third titled theirs "amazing foundation!" and said: "I really love this foundation! I have dry (yet spot prone!) skin and this foundation is perfect for me! It’s really buildable if you do have any blemishes to cover but gives a really nice smooth even finish even if just lightly applied. Such a smooth, silky foundation that doesn’t look shiny or feel like you’re wearing foundation. My mum has started using it and loves it too. Definitely my new fave!"
Another shopper added: "I have only been using this for a few days and my skin feels so much softer, best foundation I have ever used, stays on my skin most of the day, brilliant".
