Can it get any worse for the New England Patriots?
They ended the first-half of football down 22-0 at Gillette Stadium against the Cincinnati Bengals in a game where the offense was 0-for-4 on third downs with 70 total yards.
It’s easily one of the worst first-halves of football in recent memory for the storied franchise. A graphic during the game showed it was the second largest first-half deficit for coach Bill Belichick since 2000.
As the Patriots went into the locker room, boos could be heard raining down throughout the stadium with the team showing little to no fight in a pivotal game with playoff ramifications. But honestly, at this point, a postseason berth is only wishful thinking for this Patriots team.
Loud boos for the Patriots as they head to the locker room after an awful first half.

There have also been plenty of Bailey Zappe chants as well with the offense failing to show a spark with quarterback Mac Jones under center. If the game continues in this direction, the crowd may get their wish.
