The Ohio State football program is on a roll with recruiting. Hours after receiving a commitment from four-star in-state cornerback Bryce West, the Buckeyes received more good news with the commitment of four-star tight end Damarion Witten.
Witten, out of the same high school as West (Cleveland Glenville), is ranked the No. 14 tight end in the country and 347th overall prospect in the 2024 class according to the 247Sports composite. At 6 feet, 4 inches and 215 pounds, he had been thought to be an OSU lean, and he picked the scarlet and gray over Texas, Tennessee, Michigan State, Michigan and others.
Witten is the 16th commitment in the 2024 class for Ohio State, one that continues to gain momentum as Ryan Day and company look to round out what should be another top-five class.
