Bookmakers deliver verdict on Jack Harrison's Leeds United future amid growing transfer interest

Leeds United star Jack Harrison is an odds-on favourite to stay at Elland Road despite reports emerging of Leicester City's late interest in the midfielder.

News emerged last week that Leicester had reportedly made a £20million bid for Harrison. The offer may well have made Leeds ponder their response, with the 26-year-old out of contract next summer.

However, Harrison's rifled 25-yard strike against Accrington Stanley is a timely reminder of what he can offer Jesse Marsch as we head into the final 36 hours of the transfer window.

The Foxes are not the only club believed to be eyeing up a move for the Whites star, with Newcastle and Aston Villa also thought to be interested in making a late move for Harrison. Arsenal too were understood to be looking at Harrison but it appears the Gunners have since turned their attentions elsewhere to bolster their midfield.

Yet the latest odds from Betfair over Harrison's future at the club suggest that the reported interest from Leicester and other clubs in the midfielder will not be enough to tempt him away from Elland Road, as they make him odds on favourite not to leave in the winter window.

Jack Harrison to sign for before February 3, 2023

  • Not to sign or agree a contract with any other club: 4/5

  • Leicester City: 11/10

  • Newcastle United: 10/1

  • Aston Villa: 12/1
