KOCHI
The Kochi International Book Festival will get under way at Ernakulathappan ground on April 1.
Oscar Pujol, who has published several books and translations from Sanskrit classics, will inaugurate the festival. T.B. Radhakrishnan, former Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court, who is the chairman of the book festival committee, will preside over the event.
A press release said that the fest, which will be on till April 10, will feature nearly 250 publishers and distributers.
Goa Governor P.S. Sreedharan Pillai is slated to inaugurate a children’s fest as part of it.
