Boohoo launches VIP Black Friday wait list and huge early discounts

Fashion retailer Boohoo has launched a free VIP wait list for shoppers keen to get the best Black Friday deals - and with current early offers already 50% off it looks set to help bargain hunters snap up even bigger discounts.

A big countdown clock on the Boohoo website has the Black Friday sale set to launch at midnight on November 25 itself but to get early access and additional deals and discounts shoppers can sign up free to become a Boohoo VIP.

The VIP pass not only includes sneak peeks at deals before they go live for everyone, but exclusive extra discounts on the app as well as follow-up discounts and festive treats while Christmas shopping. The retailer has confirmed that partywear, shoes, coats and dresses will all be heavily discounted on the day, alongside loungewear, lingerie, accessories and beauty, makeup and skincare products. But you needn't wait till later in the month to bag a bargain. Boohoo has already launched a Black Friday warm up event, discounting more than 12,000 products by up to 50% including everything from loungewear separates to partywear. What's more, more than half of the products have been reduced to £10 or less.

There are also some great deals on winter coats, perfect for anyone looking to upgrade their look now the weather has turned. Here are some of our favourite deals so far:

Party dresses

If you're looking for a bit of sparkle to brighten up this winter, then this sequin wrap plunge, midi length party dress is just the thing. It comes in sizes from 6 to 14 and four colours - black, gold, silver and - our favourite - wine and is reduced to just £10.

For something timeless this green, sleeveless maxi dress, reduced to £5, is a great option. It can be styled up or down depending on accessories making it a really versatile choice.

Separate staples

From cosy sweaters to crop tops, work trousers to loungewear, there's plenty of great options for separates to replenish your wardrobe this winter without it costing a fortune.

These high waisted, flared trousers come in three colours - black, mint and baby blue. The black in particular are perfect both for work or for nights out when paired with a dressier top and a steal at £10. If you're looking to keep warm while looking stylish, this boxy crew neck jumper is a solid option reduced to £5.

Coats and jackets

There's plenty of outerwear reduced too, perfect if you're looking for a new coat or jacket for winter. This oversized, belted aviator jacket has a plush lining perfect for the plunging temperatures and is reduced to £35 - although reduced to £30 this might be the cosiest coat you can buy so far this winter, available in grey in sizes from 8-16.
