Bongo's Bingo to take over Greggs in Newcastle for secret disco with dancers and free sausage rolls

In what might just be one of the best collaborations of all time, Bongo's Bingo are joining forces with Greggs to host a secret disco in Newcastle.

There is set to be a really party vibe in the city over the coming days as many bars and pubs stay open later to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Established regulars in Newcastle, Bongo's, are staging a series of specials at Boiler Shop in honour of Her Majesty over the weekend, but, as well as those, they've also got something very special planned with a certain Geordie bakery.

The insane and massively popular mash up of bingo and rave is about to deliver it's biggest ever shows on Tyneside, with the Disco Inferno XL events taking over the Utilita Arena on June 17 and 18. Following on from their sold-out XL spectaculars in Manchester, Bongo’s Bingo’s epic double whammy is set to be a huge hit with Geordies, and if you haven't got your tickets, yet you can win them this weekend.

And this Saturday, June 4, the Bongo's team are teaming up with Greggs in Newcastle to give away free tickets for the opening XL show on Friday, June 17. During the afternoon, Micky Pickles and his Bongo’s Bingo dancers are throwing a secret Greggs disco in one of their Newcastle city centre shops. But the big question is – which one is it?

Clues will be trailed on Bongo’s Bingo’s Instagram channel @bongosbingo from 2pm on Saturday, with hints for which one of over 30 Newcastle Greggs shops the secret disco will be held in. Eagle eyed sleuths will have to work hard to figure out which shop the party is in and get there as soon as possible.

Then, to win one of 25 pairs of free tickets and a Bongo’s Bingo t-shirt, players must say the secret password at the Greggs’ counter: “Disco pasty.” Greggs staff will dish out free sausage rolls to the winners whilst Mickey and his dancers have the shop pumping.
