Summer days may now be over but funlovers are already looking forward to gathering around a roaring bonfire and enjoying some spectacular fireworks. People in Rochdale are invited to join in the traditional autumn festivities at three events being held across the borough.
These will be held in the townships of Rochdale, Heywood and Middleton and are suitable for people of all ages. Organised by the council, the details can be found below.
Rochdale Bonfire and Fireworks Display
Where : Cronkeyshaw Common, Syke, Rochdale OL12 0QR
When : Wednesday, November 2
Time : 7pm - 10pm
Cost : Free

The bonfire will be lit at 7pm, followed by a spectacular firework display at 7.30pm.
This event is wheelchair accessible, and refreshments will be available.
Parking and road closures
Parking will be extremely limited, so people are asked to walk or use public transport if they can.
Greenbank Road and Dewhirst Road will be closed for vehicles from 6pm–9pm.
