An explosion in an Adelaide driveway has caused damage to two vehicles, with police calling on the bomb squad to help investigate.
Police were also kept busy last night by an assault and reports of a gunshot at a home in Adelaide's south, and an incident at a car yard on the other side of the city.
The explosion at Lockleys in Adelaide's west woke local residents, and caused the area to fill with smoke, but was later determined to have been caused by a large firework.
Police were called to the scene on Arcoona Avenue just after 11:30pm.
Two parked vehicles were damaged but no-one was injured, police said.
Police have asked anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
In a separate incident around the same time, police were called to a home at Seaford Rise, in Adelaide's south, after residents were allegedly assaulted, with one suffering a possible broken arm.
An 18-year-old Christies Beach man, a 20-year-old Old Noarlunga man and a 17-year-old boy from Hackham West were charged with four counts of aggravated assault and property damage.
Less than two hours later, police received reports of a possible shooting at the same house, but no-one was injured.
Police also arrested two teenagers, from Craigmore and Valley View, in Adelaide's north last night, after a group of five people was captured on CCTV on the premises of a car yard.
Police seized spray paint cans and a balaklava.
