James Trafford - 7
Confident with coming for crosses and making decisions with and without the ball. Denied Armani Little opener in first half but could do little to stop Connor Wickham's opener.
Gethin Jones - 6.5
Combined well with Bradley on the right flank at times. Generally solid defensively too on the right of the back three.
Ricardo Santos - 7
Generally solid in the middle of the back three throughout the encounter and kept many of FGR's forwards quiet in one to one duels, though perhaps went to ground too early for opening goal.
George Johnston - 5
Carried on despite going down early in first half and had an up and down 45 minutes, got forward where he could, but poor decisions in possession at times. Removed at the break for Iredale.
Conor Bradley - 6.5
Recalled to starting team after being rested for midweek loss to Cheltenham Town. Got Kyle McAllister booked in first half and got forward when he can. Taken off before full-time.
MJ Williams - 5.5
Some bright moments on the ball, but too often came out second best defensively in the middle of the park, as was typified with opening goal.
George Thomason - 6
Decent on the ball, but like with Williams, was bypassed too easily defensively at times, especially when the hosts played with speed and tempo in the first half especially. Taken off midway through second half.
Declan John - 7
Made first League One start since August. Some nice moments moving forward, but attack which led to opening goal came down his flank. However, caused real problems with crossing from his flank, especially in second half.
Kieran Lee - 6.5
Recalled to the number 10 role, showed energy on the ball and appeared to have more impact after the break. Showed some nice momnts after the break on the ball.
Elias Kachunga - 6
Showed tenacity to keep going against a physical FGR side and won a few free-kicks. One of the few outfield players to come out with much credit in the first half. Made way in the second half.
Dion Charles - 6
Like Kachunga, showed endeavour and tenacity to try and win balls in the final third. Saw great chance put behind by Luke Mcgee in the second half.
Substitutes:
Jack Iredale - 7
Slotted in the left of the back three. Did decent job there overall and made big last ditch challenge on Myles Peart-Harris.
Dapo Afolayan - 6.5
Went into the number 10 role. Added some freshness into the final third with some nice touches.
Jon Dadi Bodvarsson - 6
Went upfront alongside Charles. Saw header go just over in closing stages.
Kieran Sadlier - 5
Played as right wing-back for closing stages. Curled over great effort just before full-time.
