Bolton Wanderers lineup vs Portsmouth confirmed as Kyle Dempsey & Declan John decisions made

Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt has made three changes to his side to take on Portsmouth this evening from the team which drew against Wigan Athletic over the weekend.

Wanderers picked up a point on the road over the weekend as they came from behind against rivals Wigan and will be seeking all three when they return home for the 8pm kick-off versus Pompey.

This evening's game has been rearranged due to the international break as both teams had players called up for their countries when the fixture was originally due to be played at the end of March.

It is an encounter between two sides sitting midtable in League One with both sides sitting 11 points from the play-offs, with both sides harbouring now slim hopes of reaching the top six by the end of April.

And for the clash against Pompey, Wanderers boss Evatt has made three changes from the side which started against the Latics at the DW Stadium on Saturday.

James Trafford starts as goalkeeper once again, while the back three lines up as Gethin Jones, Ricardo Almeida Santos and George Johnston.

In the wing-back area, Kieran Sadlier is expected to line up on the right, with Declan John is set to be on the left flank after recovering from a back problem.

In central midfield, Kyle Dempsey is partnered by Aaron Morley.

The number 10 role this evening is due to be filled by Dapo Afolayan, while Dion Charles is partnered upfront by Jon Dadi Bodvarsson.

On the bench for Wanderers this evening are MJ Williams, Amadou Bakayoko, Xavier Amaechi, Will Aimson, Elias Kachunga, George Thomason and Alex Baptiste.
