Bolton Wanderers injury list and expected return dates as Trotter hopeful of Fleetwood boost

Bolton Wanderers are hopeful of a double injury boost ahead of their match against Fleetwood Town.

The Trotters will continue their League One campaign despite the World Cup break. Ian Evatt's side are hoping to continue their push for a top-six finish.

With a trip to Highbury Stadium coming up, here is a round-up of the latest injury news.

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson

Illness

What Evatt has said: “Jon was ready to play (against Cambridge) but at half past 11 this morning, he had a really strong fever and we had to leave him behind and keep him in bed so it’s unfortunate for him because he’s trained really well all week, but he’ll be back hopefully at the end of next week."

Expected game back: Fleetwood Town (A)

Declan John

Illness

What Evatt has said: "Declan John is ill, but other than that, I think we’re good to go (for Cambridge)."

Expected game back: Fleetwood Town (A)

Lloyd Isgrove

Hamstring

What Evatt has said : "Izzy was worried sick because he said it felt the same as the first time he did it. It shows what he’s been through when you end up happy with a three to four week injury. That’s his mindset and mentality at the moment."

Expected game back: Bristol Rovers (H)

Will Aimson

Hamstring

What Evatt has said: "Will is a bit more of a significant hamstring injury from the B Team game which will probably be six weeks.

“Will is obviously frustrated, he wanted to play in the B team to get some match minutes, do the right things, but we’ve had a lot of rainfall over the last couple of weeks and sometimes when you gain a significant change in surface from a firm one to a really heavy one, sprinting and intense pressing, the way we play and train can become a lot more challenging on your muscles."

Expected game back: Shrewsbury Town (A)
