Bolton Wanderers have confirmed the capture of Gillingham captain Kyle Dempsey in their latest January transfer window acquisition.
Wanderers have signed the Gills midfielder and the 26-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half year deal at the University of Bolton Stadium.
Dempsey scored against Wanderers earlier in the season in the 2-2 draw at the UniBol.

The midfielder has been a target for Ian Evatt and Wanderers see Dempsey as a replacement in attacking midfield for departed former captain Antoni Sarcevic.
Dempsey joined Gillingham in the summer of 2020 and his contract at Priestfield was poised to run out this summer, which meant he would have been able to leave for free.
But the Gills appointed Neil Harris as new permanent boss today which was believed to have removed the biggest stumbling block to the deal happening.
And Wanderers have at long last been able to get their man who is poised to be the final signing of the January transfer window by Ian Evatt's side, but will not be available to make his Wanderers debut tomorrow against Cambirdge United.
Dempsey joins Dion Charles, Marlon Fossey, Aaron Morley, James Trafford, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson and Kieran Sadlier through the doors at Wanderers this transfer window.
Evatt said: "It’s another excellent signing for us and one we wanted to get over the line.
"Again, I’m grateful to Sharon and the board for allowing this to happen and it completes an excellent window for us.
“The intention is always to finish the window stronger than we started and that’s definitely the case again this time.
“Kyle is another key addition who will be a great fit on and off the pitch, with the right kind of leadership qualities, and as a quality midfield player who will really add to that department.”
