Celtic-linked Sydney van Hooijdonk's future could lie away from Serie A club Bologna.
This is according to a report from Italian outlet Resto del Carlino who claim that Thiago Motta's side are preparing for life without the 23-year-old should a move to Parkhead come to fruition.
They also report that Bologna are looking at Hugo Duro from Valencia and Ukrainian international Roman Yaremchuk as potential replacements.
Van Hooijdonk, who is the son of Hoops hero Pierre, has reportedly been the subject of "enquiries" from Brendan Rodgers' side as the Parkhead boss looks to plan for players going to the Asian Cup in January.
Kyogo Furuhashi, Daizen Maeda, Oh Hyeon-gyu and Reo Hatate are just some of the players who could be unavailable for the Scottish champions if they are selected to represent their countries at the tournament early next year.
Meanwhile, the Green Brigade have confirmed they will "welcome the Celtic team" outside Parkhead before the Scottish Premiership fixture against Motherwell on Saturday.
The ultras group, who are currently suspended from attending home and away matches due to what club chiefs have called "increasingly serious escalation in unacceptable behaviours and non-compliance with applicable regulations", had previously stated they would hold a "day of action" before the match against the Fir Park side if the issues were not resolved.
And now a post on The North Curve section's official X account has confirmed the group, along with other supporters clubs, will be on the Celtic Way prior to the weekend's fixture to show support for Brendan Rodgers' men.
In a statement earlier this month, the Green Brigade confirmed their plans. It read: "Following the latest reworked statement from the PLC board, we would like to address a few brief points.
"We see little value in continuing this online game of statement-tennis which was initiated by the PLC board, and which it continues to draw out by repeating the same disingenuous claims that we have already addressed.
"We note that the PLC board claims to be open to dialogue and engagement. We remind them that we have been waiting for a meeting with Chief Executive Officer Michael Nicholson since the summer.
"The planned summer meeting was originally postponed until September to allow focus on transfer activity.
"We await satisfactory progress on both fronts and remain open to constructive dialogue moving forward.
"Should our own situation not be satisfactorily resolved by Celtic vs Motherwell, 25/11/23, we will organise a day of action at this match.
"We will liaise with all interested Celtic fans, fan groups and CSCs in the lead up to this date."
