Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has been discharged from a hospital in Mumbai after being stabbed six times by an intruder during an attempted burglary at his home. The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday, resulting in Khan sustaining stab wounds to his spine, neck, and hands. Following surgery, Khan was released from the hospital on Tuesday afternoon, where he was seen smiling and waving to TV cameras despite his bandaged hand.
Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with the attack, believed to be a citizen of Bangladesh who had been using a false identity. The individual, identified as Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, was apprehended on the outskirts of Mumbai. It was revealed that Shehzad had been working with a housekeeping agency in the city for the past five to six months.
