Mr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Deputy Secretary General of the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), together with Mr. Narucha Ruchuphan, Senior Executive Investment Advisor, visited Alstom – Bombardier Transportation Signal (Thailand) on 1 September 2022, and discussed trends in the railways sector with Dr. Katrin Luger, Managing Director.
Alstom-Bombardier, a world-leading player in the railways sector, is headquartered in France. The company received investment promotion for Regional Operating Headquarters since 2014 by establishing a Global Engineering Center in Thailand to research and develop integrated solutions, including testing of signalling and traffic control systems and providing technical services for various electric train systems in Thailand and around the world. Currently, the Thailand-based operation has over 800 employees, 88% of whom are Thai.
