Mr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Deputy Secretary General of the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) delivered his opening remarks for the seminar on “Thailand’s Long-term Resident (LTR) Visa Program”, on 26 August 2022, hosted by Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) at Boat Lagoon Resort, Phuket province.
LTR Visa is a new type of visa under the Thai Government’s initiative to stimulate economic growth and FDI by attracting “high-potential” foreigners into Thailand. The aim of this seminar was to provide the program information and opportunities for foreigners living in a strategic location of LTR program such as Phuket and nearby provinces to consult with BOI officials on how to apply for LTR visa which will be officially open for applications from 1st September going forward.
This seminar was also attended by Mr. Pichet Panapong, Deputy Phuket Governor, who kindly gave the welcoming remarks to the audience, and joined by Mr. Thanusak Puengdet, President of the Phuket Chamber of Commerce.
