Aerospace parts manufacturer Ontic has extended its partnership with Boeing in a new distribution deal.
The Gloucestershire-based business, which supplies defence and commercial organisations, has forged a new three-year agreement with the global aircraft firm. Under the terms Boeing’s distribution arm, formerly known as Aviall, will become the provider of around 600 of Ontic’s machine operating and control products for civil and military aircraft platforms.
Boeing’s distribution portfolio for Ontic also includes fuel controls, memory wheel devices, interior electronic and wipers product lines. Ontic said the new deal would help to support its product line at the company’s UK base in Staverton, which it bought from Triumph Group in 2021.

Matthew Pritchard, director of customer engagement at Ontic, said: “Every day, our customers across the world depend on Ontic parts to execute their operations effectively. By expanding our long-term agreement with Boeing, we are ensuring that our valued customers continue to have access to the parts they need, when they need them.
“At Ontic, we recognise the importance of quality, part availability and reduced lead times. We are confident that our partnership with Boeing will help us improve the customer experience, while we continue to focus on investing in ongoing sustainment and the seamless integration of our recent Triumph acquisition in Staverton, where these product lines are expertly managed.”
Travis Sullivan, Boeing’s vice president and general manager of distribution services, added: “We are excited to reach an agreement with Ontic to once again offer these products to our customers. We are in a unique position to lead in this dynamic market by leveraging Boeing’s global network and platform-agnostic aftermarket capability to support various markets and platforms, along with our previous experience supporting the Staverton product line.”
It comes after Ontic secured a hat-trick of deals with US tech giant Honeywell in March to deliver a range of radar systems and navigation and communication product lines. The company, which also has facilities in Singapore and the US, heralded 2022 as a “record-breaking” year for the firm, during which it reached 13 exclusive licensing agreements.
