A dead body was found in the Chicago River Thursday morning in the Loop.
The Chicago Police Marine Unit pulled a male person from the water around 9:30 a.m. in the first block of West Wacker Drive, near State Street, police said.
The person was unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police were conducting a death investigation.
No other details were released.
