THE body of a woman has been found in the River Kelvin in Glasgow.
It comes after emergency crews raced to Eldon Street on Wednesday, October 11, to rescue a man and woman in the city's West End river.
A man was originally recovered from the water and taken to hospital, while searches continued for the woman.
Now, police have confirmed the body of a 58-year-old woman has been recovered from the river shortly before 12.30pm on Friday, November 10.
Formal identification is yet to take place, however, the woman's family who was reported missing in the area has been informed.
Officers also said there were no suspicious circumstances.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course."
