The body of a missing eight-year-old boy has been found in Yerrabi Pond in Canberra's north.
Police had been searching for Pranav Vivekanandan since Saturday morning, when his mother and brother were found dead in the pond.
The first two bodies were discovered after a member of the public reported seeing a person in the water.
AFP Maritime and the State Emergency Service (SES) then launched an extensive search in and around the pond for Pranav.
Police also publicly released information in the hope that Pranav would be found alive.
His body was found in the water just before 11am on Sunday.
Police said they did not believe anybody else was involved in the deaths but investigations were continuing.
On Saturday, Detective Superintendent Hall O'Meagher said the scene at the pond was distressing.
"It is a distressing situation for the first responders — the police, SES and all the services that we rely upon to give us the assistance we need in these circumstances — but rest assured we have welfare support to provide to those officers today and in the days coming," he said.
"Our thoughts go out to them, and also to the responding police who've had to deal with this tragic circumstance here this morning."
A report on the deaths will be prepared for the coroner.
