The body of a father-of-one found in the River Barrow in Co Carlow last Monday afternoon has been identified.
The remains of John Coakley were found close to an area known as Orchard in Leighlinbridge, Co Carlow at around 3.30pm.
Gardai and emergency services were called to the area but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body was taken to University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem examination was carried out.
In a statement, gardai said: "Located Deceased - missing person John Coakley, 40 Years, Carlow, 15th April 2023.
"Following the discovery of a body of a male on Monday 5th June in County Carlow, the missing person appeal for John Coakley has been stood down.
"An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance. No further information is available at this time."
Mr Coakley, from Kevin Barry Avenue, was last seen in the area in the early hours of the morning on April 15.
A massive joint search operation involving the gardai, army and scores of locals was involved.
His funeral arrangements are yet to be announced, but scores of condolences have been left on the funeral notice website rip.ie.
One mourner offering their sympathies said: "So sorry to hear that your son John has passed away. It's the hardest thing any parent has to face in life. My thoughts and prayers are with John and all his family. May he rest in peace."
