A 61-year-old man died suddenly at an address in Dalry on Monday, with Edinburgh police racing to the scene.
Officers made their way to Downfield Place at around 3.30pm, after the reports came in. Police have said there are no suspicious circumstances.
The details surrounding his death are unknown at the moment. Neighbours reported emergency vehicles on the street throughout the afternoon and into the evening. Fire crews were scrambled to the scene while paramedics also attended.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to an address in Downfield Place in Edinburgh around 3.30pm on Monday, January 16, 2023 following the sudden death of a 61-year-old man.
"There are no suspicious circumstances and report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."

A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service also confirmed a vehicle was sent out. Thy stated: "A vehicle was sent out at 7.30pm to assist police in gaining access to an address on Downfield Place."
