A body has been found by police in the search for a man who was reported missing. Stewart McGinn was reported missing on Tuesday, April 11. Formal identification has not been carried out but Mr McGinn's family have been informed.
A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: "A body of a man was discovered in woodland near Monmouth at around 10.20am on Thursday 13 April.
"Formal identification has yet to take place, however we have notified the family of Stewart McGinn, who was reported as missing on Tuesday 11 April. We’re not treating the death as suspicious at this time, and a report has been prepared for the coroner."
