A body has been found in the search for missing man Robert Smith.
The 46-year-old disappeared from Buckie, Moray, in the early hours of Monday morning.
A desperate appeal to find him was launched by Police Scotland.
The force confirmed this afternoon that during their search, a body was found in the Douglas Crescent area of the town around 10.15am today.
Although formal identification has yet to take place, Robert's family have been informed.
Robert was last seen in the town at around 2:50am on Monday, March 28.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
