A body has been found in the search for missing Lanarkshire man Jamie Reid.
Police made the sad discovery near Queensway in East Kilbride at around 5pm this evening (Tuesday, July 11).
While formal identification is yet to take place, the family of Jamie Reid has been informed. The 44-year-old, originally from Burnbank, in Hamilton, vanished on Saturday June 24.

There are no suspected suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
A statement from Police Scotland reads: "The body of a man was found near Queensway in East Kilbride around 5pm on Tuesday, 11 July, 2023.
Formal identification has yet to take place but the family of Jamie Reid, 44, reported missing from the Burnbank area, has been informed.
There are no apparent suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course."
