Police have found a body in the search for missing Edinburgh student .
The 22-year-old was reported missing by his family on Sunday October 6.
He was last seen on CCTV boarding a train from Glasgow Queen Street to Old Kilpatrick station and walking south across the Erskine bridge.
Police Scotland officers found a body on the coast at Helensburgh at around 3.45pm on Friday, October 25.
Formal identification is yet to take place but Rufus’ family have been informed.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Police Scotland can confirm that around 3.45pm on Friday, October 25, the body of a man was found on the coast at Helensburgh.
"Formal identification has yet to take place however the family of 22-year-old Rufus Brickell who was reported missing from Edinburgh on Sunday, 6 October 2019 has been informed."
