The body of a man has been found in the search for missing Dumbarton man George Walker.
Police say the discovery was made in the River Leven in Alexandria during the afternoon of Monday (March 7).
He has not yet been formally identified. However, the family of the 36-year-old have been informed.

Argyll & Bute and West Dunbartonshire Police confirmed the news in a release, which read: "The body of a man was found in the River Leven in Alexandria during the afternoon of Monday, 7 March.
"He has not yet been formally identified. However, the family of George Walker, 36, from Dumbarton who had previously been reported missing has been informed."
