A body has been found in the search for teacher and former MoneySavingExpert colleague of Martin Lewis, Anthony Hill.
A body was found near Heathgate in Norwich shortly before 8pm on Thursday, police said.
“Whilst formal identification is yet to take place, the family of 37-year-old Anthony Hill, who was reported missing from his home in Norwich on Monday have been informed,” Norfolk Constabulary said on Friday.
“The death is not believed to be suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.”
Mr Lewis, a financial journalist and broadcaster, said he was “devastated” after his former colleague was reported missing by the school where he taught.
On Twitter on Friday he wrote: “It's with a heavy heart I share this. My love to Ant's wife Kayleigh and their little girls.
“It's the worst news. I'm so sorry for all Ant's friends and his little pupils. I will remember you fondly Ant.”
The two men worked at the website MoneySavingExpert, founded by Mr Lewis, for six years.
Father-of-two Mr Hill retrained as a teacher and worked at St William’s Primary School in Thorpe St Andrew.
He was last seen leaving his home on Plumstead Road East in the city around 7.45am on Monday.
Earlier this week Mr Lewis reposted a police appeal on social media, writing: “This is devastating. Please share.
“Anthony is a lovely man who used to work on the MoneySavingExpert deals team before leaving to pursue his valiant passion to get into teaching.”
Hill’s wife, Kayleigh Hill, told the BBC on Thursday: “It doesn't make this living hell any easier, but it's so reassuring people out there looking for my love.”
