The search for a man missing since Sunday has been stood down following the discovery of a body in Mayo.
Martin Phillips, 58, was reported missing from his home in Westport during the early hours of January 15.
Gardai issued a missing persons appeal later that day, stating that his family were "concerned for his welfare”.

They described him as being 5’7” tall, of slim build, with brown eyes and short grey hair. It was believed he was wearing a green rain jacket, beige trousers and walking boots at the time he went missing.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed today that the missing persons appeal has been stood down following the discovery of a body in the Westport area.
They thanked the public for their help tracing Mr Phillips.
“The missing person appeal in respect of Martin Phillips, 58 years, from Mayo has been stood down following the discovery of a man's body earlier today, Tuesday, 17th January 2023 in the Westport area.
“We would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in this matter,” they said.
