Paisley police have confirmed that a body has been discovered in the search for missing man David McGarrigle.
The 60 year old was last seen yesterday morning in the Ferguslie area of the town, with officers launching a public appeal to trace him.
It has now been confirmed a body has been found in the search for the Paisley man.
Formal identification is yet to take place but David’s family have been informed.

There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
The Express told earlier how an underpass at St James' Playing Fields in Shortroods had been cordoned off by police earlier today.
Police cars could be seen in the area shortly before lunchtime as well as a private ambulance which arrived earlier this afternoon.
Police Scotland confirmed this was linked to the search for David McGarrigle.
A spokeswoman said: "Police Scotland can confirm that the body of a man has been found in the search for 60-year-old David McGarrigle, who was reported missing from Paisley on Sunday, 6 February.
"Formal identification is yet to take place but David’s family have been informed."
