The search for a man missing from Cork since Friday has been stood down following the discovery of a body.
Michael Kearns was reported missing from Kealkil on December 30.
The 55-year-old was last seen leaving his home in the village at approximately 3pm in a white Peugeot Partner van.

Gardai issued a missing persons appeal yesterday, stating that his family are "concerned for his wellbeing”.
In the appeal, gardai described him as 5’11” in height, of thin build and with short fair/grey hair.
This morning, they confirmed that the missing persons appeal has been stood down following the discovery of a body on Sunday evening.
A Garda spokesperson thanked the public for their help tracing Mr Kearns.
In a statement, they said: “Following the discovery of a body yesterday evening, Sunday 1st January 2023, the missing person appeal in respect of 55-year-old Michael Kearns who went missing from Kealkill, Co. Cork, has been stood down.
“No further information is available at this time.
“An Garda Siochana would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in this matter.”
