Body discovered on beach after desperate search efforts during Storm Noa

Storm Noa RNLI Police

A body has been found on a beach during Storm Noa.

Police were alerted to the grim discovery on Brighton Palace Pier on Wednesday, April 12.

Sussex Police were alerted to a person reported to have been in the water at 4pm.

HM Coastguard and RNLI crews were also scrambled to the incident.

It comes after an extensive search operation for a missing person within the area, The Mirror reports.

Storm Noa is hit the south of the UK with some gusts reaching 70mph yesterday.
