The body of a man has been found at an Angus nature reserve.
Emergency services were called to Balgavies Loch located east of Forfar on Tuesday, May 30, following reports of concern for a person.
A 42-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene, after being discovered in the car park of the loch.
Officers are not treating the death as suspicious. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland told the Courier: “A 42-year-old man was found dead within Balgavies Loch car park on Tuesday.
“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be forwarded to the procurator fiscal.”
