Body art addict mum wants entire body tattooed - including eyeballs

A mum who gets "three or four" tattoos a week is now hellbent on getting her entire body covered in body art and intends to fill in all the gaps on her already heavily inked skin. Self-proclaimed tattoo "addict" Melissa Sloan, who has been getting tattoos for around half her life, has spent the last ten years building up three layers of eye-catching "prison style" face tats.

As previously reported by the Daily Star, the 46-year-old mum of two is fast running out of room on her face, and is now considering getting her eyeballs inked. Although Melissa has been warned against this risky procedure, she says she's happy to "gamble" if it means getting the tattoo fix she craves.

In an exclusive interview with the Star, Melissa explained: "That's what I see in the future for me now, down the road, is blackout. When time is up I'll go for the eye sockets [eyeballs].

"I will do in the end as I'll be itching for one because I can't have a tattoo – so I'll have to go for the eyeballs, haven't I?"

Eyeball tattoos can be dangerous, and complications can result in blindness, bloodborne infections, and even the complete loss of an eye. Melissa hasn't been put off, however, and is now even willing to travel 200 miles to visit the only tattoo artist allegedly willing to ink her "lost cause" face.

According to Melissa, she's previously been offered 'free' laser treatment on the NHS to get rid of her many face tattoos. She's turned down this treatment, however, as she knew herself that she'd only start covering herself in body art all over again.

This story comes after a body modification fan believed to have the largest cheekbones on Earth recently hit back at trolls who accused her of getting her cheeks enhanced for hype, declaring, "I look the way I do because I like this."

Opening up about her plans for further enhancements, Anastasia Pokreshchuk remarked that her cheekbones now feel "a little bit small", and she feels ready for a "refresh".
