Bobby Wagner has extended his streak of being a first- or second-team All-Pro for the ninth year in a row. The Associated Press announced its All-Pro teams on Friday and while Wagner didn’t make the first-team, he was a second-team selection.
Wagner was also a second-team All-Pro in 2021 with the Seahawks, the third time in his career that he’s been a second-teamer. He’s been a first-team All-Pro six times, as well.
On the first-team, Wagner was edged out by Fred Warner, Roquan Smith and Matt Milano. Wagner, C.J. Mosley and Demario Davis were the second-team linebackers.
Wagner finished his first season with the Rams with 140 tackles, six sacks, two interceptions and 10 tackles for a loss.
No other Rams players made the first- or second-team All-Pro squads – not even Aaron Donald. Jalen Ramsey had a case at cornerback, but Sauce Gardner, Patrick Surtain II, Jaire Alexander and James Bradberry were picked ahead of him.
Donald had been voted a first-team All-Pro in each of the last seven years, but that streak ends this season after he missed six games with an ankle injury. Ramsey was also an All-Pro in the last two years but he came up short this season despite having 88 tackles, four interceptions and two sacks.
