Celtic fans had referee Bobby Madden in their sights as Rangers edged the Hoops in a titanic Scottish Cup semi-final.
But the jubilant Light Blue Hotline callers also believe their win could also prove to be a turning point in the title race.
Denis Bruce, Bishopbriggs, said: "The semi-final could turn out to be the pivotal game of the season for both Celtic and Rangers.
"If Celtic do not win against Ross County, the alarm bells will be ringing when they face Rangers at Parkhead.
"That will make the game against Rangers the following week a must not lose game.
"The complexion of the league has now taken a change which challenges Celtic 's nerves."
William Hutchison, Aberdeen, said: "We lost the semi-final and chance of a treble and there's not much we can do about that now.
"Let's put the league to bed and do the double and so much for Rangers going to be tired after the game against Braga last Thursday night."
Gordon Ashley, Ayr, said: "Fair enough, it was a good game and in the end Rangers probably just shaded it but Celtic will face a backlash from fans if they do not do something about the laughably biased Rangers referee Bobby Madden. Time and time again this referee has influenced big games in favour of Rangers and enough is enough."
Kevin Lord, Drylaw, said: "It's billed as the biggest derby in the world but I've seen more fight in an under-10 lassies game."
George Wilson, West Sussex, said: "Hotline regular Gordon Ashley was saying last Wednesday that Celtic would sweep Rangers aside again to achieve another treble and also earn £120 million.
"By treble I assume he is referring to their record breaking achievement of getting knocked out of three European competitions in record time as there are no other trebles on the horizon I am aware of.
"It was just another example of him making a total fool of himself with the constant anti-Rangers nonsense the man has spouted over the last few years. Enjoy your treble Gordon."
Ciaran Burke emailed: "I can't believe Rangers are asking for extra days to play in the Europa League semi-final against RB Leipzig after the conduct of their fans in the recent game against Celtic at Ibrox.
"A bottle was thrown onto the park and Joe Hart and other players could have been badly injured, It's about time the SPFL put down the hooliganism and deduct rangers 15 points for next season and whoever else who wants to kill our game and disgrace it in this way."
It wasn't just the clash between the Glasgow giants that grabbed the callers attention.
The fallout from the Edinburgh derby rumbles on after Hearts saw off their rivals to seal the Hampden showpiece.
George Fairgrieve emailed: "It was yet another predictable letdown for Hibs. We can’t win with 11 players so why try with 10? The discipline is scandalous.
"If you want to inflict pain on a player then score a goal don’t get sent off. Credit to Hearts, their recruitment policy has been light years ahead of Hibs. Too many raids on St Mirren and Hamilton render average quality signings and that reflects in performances."
Stephen Johnstone, Ardentinny, said: "The same old Shaun Maloney tactics from Hibs and they should have stuck with Jack Ross as manager as he would have broken Hearts and led the club to the Scottish Cup Final."
Ian McDonald, Innerleithen , said: "I admit that Hearts toiled for spells against Hibs but we scored two cracking goals and another wonderful save from Craig Gordon made the difference.Well done to the Jambos.".
David Cook, Edinburgh , said: "Arise Sir Craig Gordon, another world class save to deny the wee Edinburgh team from having half a chance of a draw and extra time. Well done to a great Hearts team."
The Championship fight between Arbroath and Kilmarnock looks set to go all the way, and James Murray, Cumnock reckons he knows why.
He said: "It looks like Kilmarnock are not yet ready for promotion. Last years' relegated team was better than the current one. A draw next week against Arbroath and its squeaky bum time in Kirkcaldy against Raith the following week."
Brian Wright, Bannockburn, "It's great to look at the four League Tables regarding the number of League games played this season, despite the Covid-19 pandemic. All are up to date except for one game in the Championship, Queen of the South v Inverness.
"Great credit to every single football club in the four main leagues."
