It feels like every time Bob Costas calls an MLB playoff game these days, he’s getting ripped for his lack of excitement.
We saw it last year when he called the final out of an Arizona Diamondbacks win and now there was a moment from the New York Yankees’ loss to the Kansas City Royals.
Giancarlo Stanton hit into a double play to end the eighth inning in a 4-1 game, which was a huge moment in a playoff game … and Costas just didn’t sound that thrilled. People thought he actually sounded disappointed, which isn’t great!
