BMW has unveiled the XM, the company's first high-performance plug-in hybrid sports activity vehicle (SAV) that also comes with the company's latest design language.
Priced at 14,899,000 baht, the XM boasts a futuristic exterior design spearheaded by a large illuminated kidney grille, bi-colour 23-inch wheels and a colour strip on the side that BMW says is reminiscent of the BMW M1.
The 4.4-litre V8 petrol engine and electric drive system team up to pump out a whopping 653hp and 800Nm of torque, capable of propelling the vehicle from 0-100kph in 4.3 seconds and to a top speed of 270kph.
The 25.7kWh lithium-ion battery provides an electric range of 82-88km (WLTP), and the top speed in EV mode is claimed at 140kph.
There are plenty of advanced features ranging from intelligent safety to infotainment and connected services. Apart from BMW OS8, BMW Live Cockpit Pro and 12.3-inch control display, there's also a 1,475-watt B&W sound system.
The interior features M trim finishes as well as a headliner featuring 100 LEDs and front seats with ventilation and massage function.
