Holidaymakers travelling from Manchester Airport were involved in a crash outside one of its official car parks. However, they avoided injury and still managed to catch their flight, police confirmed.
It happened outside the Jet Parks car park on Styal Road, just a short distance from the airport, on Wednesday.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) 's traffic officers shared pictures showing what appears to be a white Renault with its front end badly mangled. A blue BMW was also shown to have damage to its front and passenger side.

Thankfully no one was injured, they said. Accompanying the snaps in a post on Twitter, they said: "@GMPMcrAirport officers called to damage only RTC outside Jet Parks on Styal Road yesterday.
"Luckily no injuries & occupants of the BMW made their Flight. Details exchanged and vehicles recovered."
