Blur is heading to London this weekend, to headline at Wembley Stadium for the first time ever.
The rock band, known for hits like Song 2 and Parklife, will play two shows, on Saturday and Sunday.
Drummer Dave Rowntree, 59, told Rolling Stone: “It’s the most iconic venue in the UK, really.
“We certainly weren’t playing Wembley at the height of our so-called fame in the late Nineties.”
Formed in 1989 by Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James, and Dave Rowntree, the London gigs come just before Blur will release their first studio album in eight years, The Ballad of Darren, on July 21. A single, The Narcissist, is out now.
Ahead of their Wembley gigs, Blur has played shows across the UK and Ireland, at Colchester, Eastbourne, Wolverhampton, Newcastle, and Dublin.

Blur will be supported by musical duo Jockstrap, post-punk duo Sleaford Mods, and musician Self Esteem on Saturday.
On Sunday, the band will be supported by ska revival band The Selecter and the Jam singer Paul Weller.

Blur at Wembley Stadium tickets
Tickets for Blur at Wembley Stadium on July 8 have supposedly sold out, but there are still tickets available for both dates on Ticketmaster.
Prices start at £74.25, while tickets for the golden circle cost £140.25 each.
