A festival with music, science arts and culture is set to take place at the Jodrell Bank Observatory in Cheshire this month.
The Bluedot festival is known as the UK's most 'intergalactic festival' with headlining acts such as Bjork, Groove Armada and Mogwai. Taking place on 21 - 24 July 2022, tickets are available to purchase here.
This year the festival will see 'The Power Plant' vegan village and Origins, a late-night fire garden sound tracked by specially selected creators. From late-night electronica at the Orbit stage to scientific talks at the Dot Talks stage, this festival is like no other.

Bluedot 2022 promises another 'mind-expanding' programme of talks and panel discussions with leading scholars from around the globe. The DotTalks programme spans across the festival including in the 'Star Pavilion' and 'Mission Control' which previously featured speakers including James Burke, Liz Bonnin, Jim Al-Khalili, Tom Shakespeare, Helen Pankhurst, Libby Jackson, Sue Nelson and Dallas Campbell.
The last Bluedot festival in 2019 saw big names such as, KOKOKO, Derrick Carter's Cosmic Disco, DJ Paulette, Elder Island and Werkha. Other performing acts include Metronomy, Porridge Radio, Yard Act, Orlando Weeks, Kojey Radical & Professor Jim Al Khalili.
Visitors can camp in style at the boutique campsite 'The Colony' where you can wake up beneath the Lovell Telescope in one of the bell tends, podpads, bedouin tends and more. Accommodation is available to purchase outright of through a deposit scheme which can be spread across instalments before you arrive. Prices for a weekend pass for the festival are priced at £195, with day tickets costing £59.50.
