Blue Origin engineers encountered issues with the rocket during tonight's launch attempt, leading flight controllers to postpone the mission. The specific problems that the engineers were addressing were not immediately disclosed by the company.
Ariane Cornell, Blue Origin's vice president of in-space system, stated, 'We are standing down today’s launch attempt to troubleshoot a vehicle subsystem issue.' As a result, the rocket is currently being drained of its fuel.
It remains uncertain when Blue Origin will reschedule the launch. Cornell mentioned, 'From there, we’re going to assess, as mentioned, what are the things we might want to get done in our downtime? And that is what’s going to guide when the next launch opportunity will be.'
