Not many 13-year-olds have a Grammy, but then again, not many 13-year-olds have Beyoncé and Jay-Z as parents.
Who is Beyonce's eldest daughter?
The eldest of Mr. and Mrs. Carter’s three children, Blue Ivy Carter was born on January 7, 2012. She was famous from Day 1 — actually, even before that, generating headlines from the womb as Beyoncé cradled her belly to reveal her pregnancy at the 2011 MTV Video Museum Awards.
At just two days old, Jay-Z featured her voice in his song “Glory,” which earned her a Guinness Record as the youngest person to ever be featured on a Billboard-charting track.

Famous parents aside, Blue Ivy is responsible for her own achievements in the film and music industry; her first single, “Brown Skin Girl,” won a Grammy for Best Music Video in 2020, and she starred as Princess Kiara in the animated film, “Mufasa: The Lion King,” in 2024.

In fact, Blue Ivy seems to be everywhere, lately: dancing alongside Beyoncé during the halftime show at NFL’s Christmas Gameday Live, sitting on the sidelines with her dad and sister, Rumi, at Super Bowl LIX, and joining Beyoncé onstage when she won the 2025 Album of the Year Grammy for “Cowboy Carter.”
Decked out for the Grammys in a strapless Naeem Khan corset dress in her namesake hue, Blue Ivy has taken a cue from her stylish parents, who always look impeccable, although her mature ensembles have stirred up their share of controversy, with some calling them “wildly inappropriate” for a teenager.

But as any celebrity knows, a few raised eyebrows go along with the territory, and Blue Ivy has handled her fame with grace beyond her years — and, let’s face it, she won’t be a child much longer. She’s now taller than her mom, which, as Beyoncé jokingly told reporters, “she doesn’t like at all.”
So, just how much money does Blue Ivy have now — and, perhaps even more importantly, how much did she make herself?
What is Blue Ivy’s net worth in 2025?
Forbes has yet to profile Blue Ivy’s net worth, but we can break her wealth down into the categories of passive (as in parental) and earned (as in she made it) income. Let’s start with the biggest.
Trust fund baby
As one of three of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s children — fraternal twin siblings Rumi and Sir are six years younger than Blue Ivy — the close-knit kids exist inside a luxurious bubble of wealth and privilege.
Jay-Z’s net worth
Their father, Jay-Z (given name: Shawn Carter), is currently the world’s richest musician, living or dead, with an estimated net worth of $2.5 billion (that’s with a b), according to Forbes. The rapper has two dozen Grammys to his name and sold more than 240 million records in his decades-long career.
Blue Ivy certainly inherited her father's talent and even rapped on his 2017 album "4:44."

However, it’s his side hustles that really widened Jay-Z's bottom line. His fashion line, Rocawear, was worth $204 million when he sold it in 2007; he also owns a $203 million sports agency, Roc Nation, that represents marquee NBA and MLB players. He pocketed $297 million from his stake in Tidal, the music streaming business in 2021 and has a $200 million contract with Live Nation Entertainment.
His top-shelf liquor businesses shot his wealth further skyward. Jay-Z made $300 million in 2021 when he sold his champagne company, Armand de Brignac champagne (also known as Ace of Spades), to LVMH (LVMHF) , and he took home a whopping $750 million from the sale of his D’ussé cognac brand to Bacardi in 2023.
Beyoncé’s net worth
As Queen Bey’s children have grown, so has her fortune — to $760 million in 2025, thanks largely to album sales and concert tours, although she also entered the liquor business with Sir Davis, a line of branded whiskeys named in her grandfather’s honor.
The “Irreplaceable” singer has sold more than 200 million albums worldwide and added about $220 million to her net worth in 2024 from "The Renaissance World Tour" and companion concert film.

"The Renaissance World Tour" also served as Blue Ivy’s global dance premiere, and “Cowboy Carter,” Beyoncé’s eighth studio album, featured her daughter as well; it enjoyed 300 million streams in its first week alone.

The Carter Family Dynasty
Together, Jay-Z and Beyoncé have amassed more than $3 billion in current wealth, and with three children to their name, it’s safe to assume that the power couple's kids could stand to one day inherit $1 billion each — and their fortunes are only growing.
Wisely, their parents understood the immense financial value they would have, and so, in 2012, even before Blue Ivy was born, Jay-Z and Beyoncé applied to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to trademark her name on “everything from books to pacifiers to shampoo to video games and much more,” thus preventing others from using or profiting from it. After a skirmish with a small events company with the same name, a federal judge approved Blue Ivy’s application in 2023.
Jay-Z and Beyoncé subsequently took out trademarks on “Rumi Carter” and “Sir Carter” that, according to Forbes, have far-reaching significance. They’re a way for Jay-Z and Beyoncé to cultivate a legacy, effectively “building a blueprint for generational power” that surely won’t be taken lightly.
But that’s not to say Blue Ivy doesn’t have her own hustle going. In fact, she's already a millionaire several times over, achieving more before her 10th birthday than most adults do in their lifetimes.

Blue Ivy's music & dance royalties
From the get-go, Beyoncé’s mini-me showed an affinity for the stage: At two years old, she and her Dad presented the "Cuff It" singer with the MTV Video Vanguard Award —adorably, the mic picked up her voice shouting “Good job Mommy!”
Blue next made a cameo in Beyoncé’s 2019 “Spirit” music video, in which the two dressed in matching pink gowns.
She appeared in Beyoncé’s 2020 visual album, “Black Is King,” a companion album that, according to its liner notes, “reimagines the lessons of 'The Lion King' for today’s young kings and queens,” as well as the video for “Brown Skin Girl,” which Blue Ivy co-wrote with her mom, SAINt JHN, and WizKid.

Blue’s first live performance was with her mother at a private show in Dubai in January 2023. The two sang “Brown Skin Girl,” but she wanted to dance, too.
“I made a deal with her,” Beyoncé revealed in "Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé." “I said, ‘If you practice and show commitment, I’ll let you do one show.'”
During the Paris leg of The Renaissance World Tour, Blue Ivy was spotted grooving to “My Power,” “Smooth With It,” and “Black Parade.” At first, her moves lacked confidence. She appeared unpolished, but Beyoncé gave her another shot, and Blue Ivy ran with it. In just a few months, she had put in the legwork and upped her game, wowing fans and her parents alike.

According to Rolling Stone, dancers for Beyoncé’s music videos only make about $250 a day, but Blue Ivy’s paychecks are estimated to be much, much higher — according to a source from Life & Style, the up-and-coming powerhouse earns about $40,000 per show.
Considering that the tour had a total of 56 shows during its May to October 2023 run, Blue Ivy banked a cool $2.24 million in the process.

Blue Ivy's endorsement deals & other income
Like her savvy parents, Blue’s empire already extends beyond music.
At the tender age of eight, she narrated the audiobook, “Hair Love” by Matthew A. Cherry, which became a New York Times bestseller.
“Mufasa: The Lion King,” her feature film debut, generated $672 million at the box office, making it one of the top 10 highest-grossing films of 2024. Not too shabby for a 12-year-old.
She also reportedly has endorsement deals with a range of luxury brands, exclusively donning their duds to perform on stage and in public.
While details of these contracts have not been disclosed, we do know she has been seen wearing established labels like Christian Siriano, Vivienne Westwood, and Balenciaga, as well as in new names like Frolov and Amiri, seamlessly switching baggy, athletic styles with more grown-up ballgowns for red carpet events.
According to her stylist, Shiona Turini, Blue has the final say on what she wears.
