Blue Ghost is currently in the midst of preparing for a significant engine burn, with communication temporarily lost as it entered a planned comms blackout on the far side of the moon. This blackout has limited access to ground stations on Earth, making communication challenging during this phase of the mission.
The upcoming critical 19-second engine burn is scheduled to take place at 1:31 a.m. CT (2:31 a.m. ET) on the moon's far side. Following the engine burn, there will be a 50-minute coast phase before communication is expected to be reestablished.

According to the mission update, communication with Blue Ghost is anticipated to come back online approximately halfway through the coast phase. This reconnection will enable ground control to monitor and guide the spacecraft effectively as it continues its journey.
