Footage of a hitchhiker's last known movements towards the Blue Mountains in NSW have been released in hope of solving her mysterious disappearance.

Police hold grave concerns for 30-year-old Jessica Zrinski, a friendly and approachable woman last seen getting into a blue car in Greenfield Park on November 28.

Images of the car were released on Friday in the hope someone recalled seeing it in the southwestern Sydney area in late November.

Detectives were pursuing all lines of inquiry, including the possibility she met with foul play, Homicide Squad Commander Danny Doherty said on Friday.

"At this stage, we can place Jessica in this vehicle headed towards the Blue Mountains, but we cannot ascertain her movements beyond there," Detective Superintendent Doherty said.

Her family told police she was known to hitchhike, and described her as "friendly" and "approachable".

"She is known to seek lifts with people she didn't necessarily know," Det Supt Doherty said.

Police particularly want to speak to anyone who saw or spoke to Ms Zrinkski on the Monday night last November before she disappeared.

Her family reported her missing the following Friday, December 3, leading to investigations by local police and then homicide squad investigators.

The car is thought to have travelled west on the M4 motorway and Great Western Highway towards the Blue Mountains.
