Blossoms star Tom Ogden married girlfriend Katie Donovan in signature vintage style, with even the couple's pet dog wearing black tie.

Band frontman Tom married salon owner Katie in front of family and friends in the spectacular setting of Stockport Town Hall at the weekend.

Tom and his groomsmen, who included his Blossoms bandmates, were all rocking vintage black suits - with even the couple's pet dog George matching in a classic black tux.

Meanwhile bride Katie wore a stunning fitted bodice white gown with matching veil and an incredible bouquet of white roses and orchids.

After the ceremony, guests were ferried to the wedding reception in a vintage Leyland double decker bus which caused a stir in the centre of Stockport.

Katie, whose brother is Blossoms drummer Joe Donovan, posted a message of thanks to family and friends after the wedding on her Instagram on Saturday.

She said: "What a day! Can’t believe how much fun we had! Didn’t stop laughing and smiling all day.

"Thanks to everyone that came wished well and helped, you all mean the world to me."

She signed the message off from "Mr & Mrs Ogden."

Well-wishers flooded the post with their congratulations - and were particularly pleased to see the special role for pet dog George.

The newlywed couple welcomed guests into a marquee in their garden for their wedding breakfast and evening reception, where a Beatles covers band entertained revellers into the night.

Stockport band Blossoms have had huge success since blasting onto the music scene in 2016, with their self-titled debut album shooting straight to the top of the UK charts and follow-up Cool Like You making the top 5.

Their most recent, third album, Foolish Loving Spaces also topped the charts on release in January 2020, spawning hit record Your Girlfriend.

Fans are now eagerly awaiting the band's rescheduled UK tour dates, after the lifting of all lockdown restrictions in July.

Upcoming shows for the Charlemagne stars include the huge sold-out homecoming gig at the AO Arena in Manchester on September 18.
