Blood was spattered across the floor following an incident in a Liverpool city centre shop.
Merseyside Police has launched an investigation following a suspected assault at a shop in Liverpool city centre. Officers were contacted at around 1pm today, Thursday, September 15 following reports of a disturbance involving two men inside Mobile Hub on Whitechapel.
One of the men is believed to have suffered an injury to his hand. A spokesperson for Merseyside Police confirmed a 35-year-old man from Old Swan was arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault following the incident.

Images taken by the ECHO at the scene showed a police cordon had been put up around Mobile Hub. Blood could be seen spattered across the floor at the entrance to the shop.
The police spokesperson added: "Enquiries into the incident are ongoing."
