Block, MasTec, Universal Display And Some Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Friday

U.S. stocks traded higher, with the Dow Jones gaining more than 400 points on Friday. Here are some big stocks recording gains in today’s session.

  • Willdan Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:WLDN) surged 27.6% to $16.55 following strong Q3 results. Willdan was also awarded an $11 million contract with Azusa Unified School District.
  • TransMedics Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:TMDX) jumped 25.8% to $56.79 after the company reported better-than-expected Q3 EPS and sales results. The company also raised its FY22 sales guidance above analyst estimates.
  • Digimarc Corporation (NASDAQ:DMRC) gained 22.8% to $17.99 after the company reported better-than-expected Q3 adjusted EPS and sales results.
  • DMC Global Inc. (NASDAQ:BOOM) rose 21.6% to $23.80 following upbeat quarterly results.
  • Cambium Networks Corporation (NASDAQ:CMBM) jumped 20.5% to $23.18 after the company reported better-than-expected Q3 EPS and sales results.
  • Vir Biotechnology, Inc. (NASDAQ:VIR) rose 20.2% to $26.21 after the company reported a year-over-year increase in Q3 EPS and revenues.
  • XPeng Inc. (NYSE:XPEV) gained 19.5% to $8.20. XPENG completed RMB964 million debut issuance of auto leasing carbon-neutral asset-backed securities on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Shares of Chinese companies traded higher following a report suggesting China could make changes to its COVID policy and may lift COVID flight suspensions.
  • Yamana Gold Inc. (NYSE:AUY) surged 17.7% to $4.8050. Agnico Eagle Mines - Pan American Silver offered around $5 billion to buy Yamana Gold.
  • Block, Inc. (NYSE:SQ) rose 17.7% to $63.46 after the company reported better-than-expected Q3 EPS and sales results.
  • Gold Fields Limited (NYSE:GFI) gained 17.6% to $8.59. Agnico Eagle Mines - Pan American Silver offered around $5 billion to buy Yamana Gold.
  • Insulet Corporation (NASDAQ:PODD) rose 17.1% to $298.90 after the company reported better-than-expected Q3 EPS and sales results. The company also raised its FY22 revenue growth expectations.
  • Exact Sciences Corporation (NASDAQ:EXAS) gained 17% to $37.85 after the company raised its FY22 revenue guidance.
  • TimkenSteel Corporation (NYSE:TMST) surged 16.4% to $18.98 following Q3 results.
  • Adient plc (NYSE:ADNT) gained 16.1% to $38.60 after the company reported better-than-expected Q4 results.
  • NIO Inc. (NYSE:NIO) jumped 15.3% to $11.45. Shares of Chinese companies traded higher following a report suggesting China could make changes to its COVID policy and may lift COVID flight suspensions.
  • Americold Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE:COLD) gained 14.7% to $27.51 following Q3 results.
  • MasTec, Inc. (NYSE:MTZ) surged 14.6% to $84.76 after the company reported better-than-expected Q3 EPS and issued revenue guidance above estimates.
  • Sibanye Stillwater Limited (NYSE:SBSW) rose 14.5% to $9.61.
  • Universal Display Corporation (NASDAQ:OLED) gained 14.4% to $102.93 after the company reported better-than-expected Q3 results.
  • DoorDash, Inc. (NYSE:DASH) rose 14.1% to $54.33 after the company reported better-than-expected Q3 sales results.
  • BlackLine, Inc. (NASDAQ:BL) gained 13.8% to $55.80 after the company reported better-than-expected Q3 results.
  • Alcoa Corporation (NYSE:AA) surged 12.8% to $42.52.
  • Kemper Corporation (NYSE:KMPR) rose 12.5% to $55.81. Raymond James upgraded Kemper from Market Perform to Outperform.
  • MercadoLibre, Inc. (NASDAQ:MELI) jumped 11.7% to $972.89 after the company reported better-than-expected Q3 EPS results.
  • Fox Factory Holding Corp. (NASDAQ:FOXF) gained 11.1% to $89.54 after the company reported better-than-expected Q3 results.
  • Prudential plc (NYSE:PUK) jumped 10% to $20.63.
  • Starbucks Corporation (NASDAQ:SBUX) gained 9.5% to $92.69 as the company posted upbeat results for its fourth quarter on Thursday.
  • Lufax Holding Ltd (NYSE:LU) rose 7.2% to $1.5001 after declining around 10% on Thursday.
  • Microchip Technology Incorporated (NASDAQ:MCHP) rose 6.6% to $63.38 after the company reported better-than-expected Q2 EPS and sales results. The company also issued Q3 EPS and sales guidance above analyst estimates.
  • Alibaba Group Holding Limited (NYSE:BABA) rose 6.1% to $ 69.15. Alibaba Group plans to power 20% of its operations with its homebrew CPUs by 2025, the Register reported.
